"Morning coffee" by Anne Donnelly

 

Born in Belfast in 1932, Anne Donnelly grew up in County Carlow. She pursued her education at the College of Art in Dublin, the Escuala de Bellas Artes in Madrid and the Ecole Julienne in Paris. She traveled and worked for many years, with her husband Carlo Mazzantini in France, Spain and Morocco before returning to Italy where she took up residence next to the ruins of the Emperor Hadrian's villa in Tivoli. Donnelly has been exhibiting since the fifties and has had solo exhibitions in the Grafton, Taylor and Pepper Cannister Galleries in Dublin.
